Hi All,Just signed up here. I'm currently working on a high-altitude ballon project based on a Propeller chip. The revised board is off to be fab'ed, and most of the equipment is procured. Conservatively, it should be ready for flight in 2-3 months.Doing a little thinking ahead here. Assuming I can get the balloon in the air and get the payload back, I'd like to transition into a U** project. I know the law says you can't fly above 400 ft. But it is legal to send a ballon up and have the payload come back down on a parachute. So, does anybody have any idea of the legality of an unpowered paraglider dropped from a high-altitude? The controls would be pretty simple, just left and right.I'd like to hear some of you opinions on the feasibility and/or legality.

Its stacks more complex than a standard chute.
I think Dean over at attopilot.com has his fingers in the balloon pie, I could be wrong.
Best of luck
