Grid function for APM Planner

Hi Guys,

Does APM Planner have the grid function to plan surveying missions?

I found this functionality on Mission Planner for windows and Droidplanner, but not on APM Planner.

If APM Planner really doesn't have this function, can anyone answer why?

    I would really want this.
    I like a lot of things about apm planner, but I'm forced to use Mission.

    No, it does not.

    We are in the process of working on a new map view capable of grid and other survey functions. This was one of the main points for pushing forward with Qt5, was the increased QML functionality for just this purpose. It is coming, and hopefully won't be too long until it is available.

    As a stopgap, you can create the grid in Mission Planner then export it to APM Planner, but I know that is not an optimum solution.
