    Any of them will work just fine as a GCS, APM Mission Planner, HKGC, or QGroundControl; however, for an X8, you will need to do some custom setup. See http://code.google.com/p/arducopter/wiki/AC2_Multi

     

    After the assembly, testing, and Arduino IDE upload (to handle any special options not directly supported in the GCS software) it all works the same, it's all MAVlink, and you can tune, tweak, manage and operate with any of them.
