Hard - but not so hard - landing => No more comm between APM 2.5 and MP - Discussions

Landing was not hard at all and drone landed perfectly flat, just strong, not really a crash

APM 2.5 was inside KK2 coffin box so very well dampened for this kind of shock

Now :

- When power on, no ESC beeps, no lights when GPS is connected

- When GPS is disconnected, I have a few lights no ESC beeps

- When connecting to MP, says comm failed

Leds when connecting to usual USB PC

- very quick blue led

Orange light and small red light very close always on

Red/blue like a police patrol car for a few secs

then blinking red, orange light and small red light very close always on

One spot gets very hot at the back, where above the arrow parallel to "Arducopter'

As soon as I disconnect, hot spot gets normal very quickly

What do you think it is ? Any detection hint to start from ?

Somebody knows how to connect using ftdi instead of USB, in order to test if the apm is working while not able to do it using the USB port ?

when I connect to lipo, only continuous orange link and nothing else.

Light is not as strong as when powered from USB port

When I try to connect to CLI, it says "opened com port" then nothing

Forgot to write that the very first time I connected to MP right after that hard landing, i got :

"No Heartbeat Packets Received"
