  • Its quite simple to cut a hole in the foam belly to install a camera of your choosing. Getting it to trigger from the AP is well documented in the wiki. There is no rational reason to buy the Aero-M over the Aero unless you value the Pix4D software.

  • I just looked up the E384 and it does have a Pixhawk installed. Now I don't know what your question was.
    • You, sir are absolutely correct!

      And I feel like an idiot - I found this review first:

      http://www.dronelife.com/cms/product/E384-Complete-Package

      and then spent more than an hour running around online in circles.

      That must have just been an older review pre-Pixhawk...

      thanks so much for your response though, sorry to waste all these electrons though :}

  • The APM works well on a skywalker. You are giving up terrain following, numerous types of redundancy, and the SD card for your logs. I'm sure the E384 will switch to a 32 bit AP at some point. In the meantime you could always upgrade to a Pixhawk if you feel you need to.
