Has anyone thought of using a smart phone as an on board computer for their drone? Because I really want to build a drone that I can control through the use of cellphone towers, instead of FM frequencies. The reason is that I want to greatly expand my aerial boundaries, and if I where to mail my drone to the other side of the planet and it was in range of a cellphone signal Would it be still possible to operate my drone?

I thought I remembered an off the shelf system that had a cell phone interface, but I can't remember where I saw it.
DroneCell is available, but I don't know that you can control the drone from it.
