Hi everyone
Since this is the first time i am charging a LiPo battery pack, and having seen the videos of what happens if charged wrongly, i decided to post some "dumb" questions, rather than just making assumptions and proceeding.
I have bought the following LiPo pack

and the following charger
http://www.electrifly.com/chargers/gpmm3152.html
The charger has 2 output leads with alligator clips. The battery has a rather strange input lead for charging(i think it is an equalizer input). How do i charge this battery. Do i need to buy an equalizer that goes between the charger and battery, or can i get away with some sort of adapter?
Thanks in advance
Srinath

Thanks, Before i buy the charger and power supply, could you confirm that it can charge the LiPo battery that i have bought? I ask because i can't make out the output port of the charger in the picture.
@Russell
I have the blinky, but my charger has only 2 output leads, while the LiPo battery pack seems to have many input leads (for charging all the cells i guess?)
This is a good LiPo balancer "The BLINKY" http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXMRZ9
U can use this to balance and test LiPo packs. I like it because I can balance while I'm charging or while battery sits on the shelf.
U don't need to balance charge every time you charge your battery, you can if u like. I balance charge every 3 charges. I also use the blinky after i charge to balance as well.
Yes, most modern chargers allow you to plug in that balancing connector at the same time as the main power cables, and handle the balancing for you. It appears that the charger you got is an older design, so you'll need a balancing adapter.
I use this charger, which has the balancing built-in. It's excellent and quite cheap. Don't forget to get the power supply.
