After visiting forums, blogs and wikis i have setup my quad copter using APM2.6 and external compass. After spending countless hours and a leg broken now my quad can fly smoothly.
I have setup my Spektrum Dx7s to work with my quad but only for 3 flight modes.
i-e only 3 position switch (flap gyro) work so i set it up for
0 - Stabilize mode
1 - Loiter
2 - Land
none of the other switches work, as i need to configure more flight modes using my Spektrum Dx7s.
Currently i have left AUX1, AUX2 and AUX3 not connected with the APM, but i tried connecting them with APM then only AUX button works which i suppose to set with the gimbal (currently does not have gimbal) .
Can anyone help me configuring other flight modes using other switches ?
P.S i am not advanced so can't understand much technical language.
Thanks

Hi Omer. That is sort of a long question to answer. And I'm probably not the best person to answer but I'll give it my best shot. I think it has more to do with figuring out your transmitter than the apm. Perhaps your best bet might be to use mission planner / parameters and just change the modes to what you want on the 3 position switch. That's what I do. Good luck.
