I'm new here, and also new to rc copters, drones and stuff.
What i want is to build a bicopter from scratch with good thrust/lifting capabilities
so I have a good rig/base for later projects and experimentation.
I think I'm going to use some Master Airscrew 3-blade props but I need some help
from you guys finding some strong and hopefully cheap enough motors.
I'm hoping someday I can afford a hd camera, big battery(s) for longer flights/tasks,
fpv and other equipment so the total weight can get very high..
I have some arduino controllers and servos I want to use for the bicopter but everything
else, except frame parts, I have to order.
Here's a short list of what I have to order:
props
motors
gyro/sensors
battery
transmitter w/receiver
Do I need things like ESC, accelerometer, compass, gps?
Is it cheaper to buy a wii motion plus for gyro's?
Feel free to comment or give me some tips and pointers on
what I have to consider and if you know of any parts I could use:)

I hope you will spend some time reading more about the projects here. Some of your questions lead me to believe that you could gain quite a bit of knowledge from spending more time on these pages.
I seriously doubt a bi-copter would be a stable platform for any sort of camera. A tri-copter would be a minimum but a quad makes a much better platform. If you are going to hang some expensive cameras from the bird, you might consider a hexi or octo-copter.
