I have the APMega running 1.02, Meditaek GPS with latest 1.6 firmware (and a battery), with the HK GCS. The B and C LED's on the APM are lit and the GPS light as well, indicating lock.But the serial output data in the GCS says Fix = 0, Sats = 0, HDOP =0 and the GPS panel displays correct Long/Lt but says GPS not locked. Even after an hour it still says the same.This seems to have been raised in a number of posts but I cannot find a resolution to the problem, or if it is a problem.Any Ideas?

Thought I better post the answer that HK gave me as it may help others.
"That is correct. If you're using the Mega Binary then there is no variable for GPS lock. I would suggest trying the MAVlink APM source in the trunk. That has everything and is going to support waypoints and control and partially support parameter setting today."
