Hello Pilots,

So I'm building my first quad copter, I only have experience with fpv planes at the moment.

Quad Components

Atmega 328, Hobby king flight controller V3

BEC 12A Hobbyking ESC

Turnigy Mini quad frame

FRSKY DJR-II plus, Receiver and Transmitter module

Turnigy 9x4

The problem

I've flashed the flight controlled with xcopter by kk 4.7 using my mac and KK software. When I boot the copter up, I get 3 low tones and then the all good signal, but no motor start. According to the ESC instruction book this means that the throttle hasn't been calibrated properly.

After which so i enter programme mode, with throttle all the way up, and drop the throttle when I hear two beeps.

The quad then indicated successful calibration, I can then use the drone if I dont change anything.

However upon exiting programming mode ( changing yaw pot back) and putting the battery back in, the quad gives me the same error, that throttle hasn't been calibrated.

Any ideas?

Thanks
