Hello everyone!
This is my first post here.
I will buy ardupilot and a cheap airplane to try it. I think of buying the HobbyKing Floater-Jet http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=8359&Product_Name=AXN_Floater-Jet__/_Ready_To_Fly_EPO, but now I saw the HobbyKing TM Predator http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewitem.asp?idproduct=5455#
What do you think about the Predator, have you tried it? Do you think the Predator will be better as UAV than the Floater-Jet?
Thanks!

However, be aware that it got ailerons, and not ment to be steered by the rudder as the easystar. It will need to be stabilized along the roll axis. I don't know if the Ardupilot is ment to stabilize like this, but shouldn't be a problem if you know a little PID-basics(or willing to read a page or two:)

I haven't built my UAV here, but I can tell you that when you start talking Predator, the veterans tell you to pack up and go home. The floater jet is about PERFECT, as the recommended starter plane for UAV's is the "easy-star". I didn't know Hobby King had a clone. Also look for the "Wild Hawk".
Good luck,
