I have been given a school project to design a hoverboard (that actually hovers), I would like to know what kind of motors I would need to power my propellers, how many motors, which batteries to use etc
Thank you

I just wanted to point out that the Lexus Hoverboard was a joke video. They buried a conductive metal track underneath the concrete so it followed a certain path. Great video, though!

It's certainly been done before, but you might find the cost to build one more than your budget. There's a lot more to it than just strapping on some motors and props. Here are a few examples.
If you want to do some calculations yourself, you can use ecalc to get an estimate of how large the motors and batteries would have to be to make it work: ECALC the most reliable RC Calculator on the Web

Good Luck with your project!
Its a university project. They want a technical report
good question
Yes it is intended for people to ride own. So i need to know how many propellers, motors, power source I would need etc
What kind of school are you developing the 'hoverboard' for? Is it something intended for people to ride on?
I think he means making a hoverboard as in an actual hoverboard. Where would he put the stickers without a hoverboard?
