I setup a pixhawk drone equipped with a servo controlled sprayer to automatically open nozzle during auto mission.
For the survey mission, I included arbitrary waypoints before and after each survey line and set the output pwm for closing and opening of the nozzle so that the drone does not spray other than inside of the grid.

Auto nozzle control works perfect while on auto mode however, the nozzle cannot be closed manually even when I disengage automode while it is spraying in the mission.
Simply setting the output as gimbal control doesn't work for auto mission.
Is there a way to override the signal output exclusively when not in auto mode?
