Huge acceleration spikes

Does anyone know what might cause this?

3691029504?profile=originalThis was taken from a typical log of an 11 minute flight. Hexa flew great start to finish. This flight was totally in stabilized mode and the flight was fairly aggressive with the hexa being flown like you would a RC helicopter.

Here's a look at nominal graphs:

Is this a data acquisition error? Can this be caused by landing softly and taking off from soft grass? Just curious, I've seen this in other logs as well.

Included is the log file for those interested.

Thank you,

Charles

  • Downloading the logs in VMware perhaps? I see that if I grab the logs via MissionPlanner in a VM. They're fine if I save them off from a terminal inside OSX.

  • Would you happen to be using a VM on a Mac, Fusion maybe?
