Hi Everyone.
It's been a while since I built my old tilt rotor tricopter in school.
I want to show off recent project I've been working on for the last 6 months. The goal was to simplify the task of programming robotics. To showcase this I built a 12 DOF walking robot. I used a hobbyking RF controller and my "Smart Servo Controller" and with out too much difficulty I made a biped walk. well kinda more like skate but close enough.
The controller allows the mapping of signals from a RC controller to multiple outputs with different scaling and offsets. It also allows logic, control loops and animation playback features. The nifty part is it is all done with out having to write any code.
I've started a kickstarter campaign for it and hope that it might help some people overcome the challenges of programming robotics or drones too. Check it out, it has lots of info about the project

Check out the video to see the robot walk. I still have to make the robot walk with the hand controller, but those are relatively high level commands compared to controlling each individual servo motor.

If you guys have any questions just let me know and I'd be happy chat. I'd like to invite you to like my facebook page and share the project with your friends if you find it interesting.
