Well, I can't disarm the plane. As soon as APM finishes the calibration procedure it just ARM itself (yellow light and ARMED message at HUD) and I can't disarm it, not even with the button arm/disarm in ACTION menu. I did a reset and installed the firmware again (Arduplane 2.66) and the latest mission planner, but still no change. Connected or not, it still arms itself...
I ruled out RADIO calibration since the ACTION button won't work either... and even if I start APM with RADIO at RTL position it arms on the ground...
What I'm missing here? Please help me, I almost cut a finger today because this...

I think the arming is not the problem, but the motor starts to work in non manual modes without taken off. In 2.65 and before there was something that detects a take-off, and only then, motor runs in non manual. In 2.66 this function seems to be broken. Very dangerous if you do your pre-flight checks. Cheers Gregor
I don't think planes have the concept of armed and disarmed. copters do but I don't think that planes do...I could be wrong because I'm mostly on the copter side...but that's my understanding..
