Hi all,
We had a successful day, except auto takeoff didn't seem to take off properly (it just sat on the ground and got "lighter"), this may be a tuning issue, maybe the I term limit needs to be higher (I have a lot of weight on the copter).
I made an electrically isolated voltage and current sensor board (and power distribution) for my quad. It seems to work fine, but I can't find a place where I can read the current in the mission planner anywhere. Is it only used to calculate the remaining power? I can read the voltage just fine. Sure is nice to see, using my new 3DR setup!

Hi all again,
Nobody replied, so I thought I'd ask again. "How can I read the quadcopter battery current from mission commander????"
I went through all the parameters, I see the voltage, and also, on the heads up display, I see battery life remaining, but NO-WHERE do I see the current.
I see that the motor CURRENT can be logged in the LOG file, I'll be adding that to my new piece of software called APMLogVisualizer, which I'll post here soon. But I would like to be able to see the battery current from mission commander.
Here's a preview of my APMLogVisualizer:

Let me know if you're interested in trying it out.
But please, if there's a way, let me know how to read the battery current from mission planner, if not, no big deal, but it would be VERY nice, especially for performance testing.
Thanks again,
Dan Gray
