Channel one of my Rx has a y splitter servo cable which goes out to the ailerons and to the rudder. But when I turn the stick to a direction....the ailerons move to turn the plane the way I want it to go...but the rudder does the opposite. I can't reverse the channel because that would reverse the ailerons and then only the rudder would move in the right direction.... Is there a solution to this? Or do I have to go without a rudder?

Depends on model you are flying. If the model is glider or very stable high winger model with dihedral , you can leave/fix ailerons and use rudder for turns , if not vice-versa.Without Rudder cross wind landing will be a difficult, that all.Good Luck
Your going to get all sorts of weird secondary effects of controls if you fly rudder aileron on one stick, rather forget the rudder and make you craft aileron elevator or rudder elevator.
Your Y cable is actually for using two servos for the ailerons, one on each side, not splitting it to rudder aileron, that's why one servo seems to be moving the wrong way.
Normally one stick handles throttle and rudder and the other elevator aileron.

Otherwise, I'd go without the rudder.
