  • Hi,

I have a somewhat similar problem with my FrSky TH9X, which came with a 3DR Iris.

This weekend when I tried to takeoff for a second flight, the Iris had a strong tendency to fly to left, even crashing against a stone that was some distance to the left of the initial launch position.

This glitch is not permanent, disappearing sometimes when the handset is restarted. When the glitch is active, the "ailerons" or "roll" axis rarely stays centered, with tendency to get stuck on the left side. When the stick is moved, the "roll" axis signal either not changes or changes in apparently random steps, and rarely those steps are to the right.

I have contacted FrSky and 3DR about the issue, but had no reply yet.

Its the radio, send it back.

      • you don't think replacing the gimbal on right side will fix it?  I have serious reservations sending my tx to china in the hopes they send a new one fixed, specially when they don't reply to emails.

    • I have also contacted Fr Sky but I have not gotten a reply either.  If they do reply I will let you know what they say.
