Hey I've just started running a couple of blogs. Right now I'm posting every bit of news from corporations and government that is directly related to drones I can get my hands on, as well as the occasional art work, but I'd like to move quite a bit of the focus to interesting or unique personal 'home made' UAV/MAV projects, and I thought what better place to find them than drone forums. I and a couple of friends are trying to get a group together to promote advanced drone/multirotor design in very serious ways.
These things are rarely as easy as one might hope, lol.
We are still discussing how to go about it, including maybe starting a serious website (not a forum).
We would love to join forces with you!
There is one major concern, that maybe you also could think about.
There are a few people out there who have truly advanced concepts and designs, but who are very hesitant to in any way publish/post/etc. what they have out of fear that some person or commercial entity might steal thier idea and make money with it at their expense and regret. We want to find ways to protect them and their designs and give them maximum pblic credit so that they might be encouraged to share what they have. We are considering several diverse ideas along these lines,

Well for one this is done on social media so the wider world can see it not just people who visit DIYdrones, this is pretty much for people that want to show off their projects more.
