I have 6 months off work due to a medical condition and I'm creating a drone. 2 years ago I built one over the summer with an arduino and a bunch of components. I used an H Frame design out of aluminum C-Channel. The design worked well until I crashed it... In which the frame bent and then was not even enough to fly. It always listed off to one side.
Since this place is titled DIY Drones I thought it would be a good place to ask what people thought would be a good style frame and materials to make things out of. I have general tools so I don't have the ability to make anything too crazy. I am also creating a circuit board with integrated ESC, 6 axis gyro, microcontroller and potentially the transmitter all built in, however I'm no expert in electrical engineering so it's been interesting. I'll attach some pictures of the old frame.
