Sorry if it's a trivial question, but I got none electronics knowledge, and recently purchased this GPS module with the intent to play it with Arduino (should have ordered with adapter or some breakout board). I just read the datasheet (http://www.gtop-tech.com/download/datasheet/FGPMMOPA6B-datasheet.pdf) after the purchase, and got scared with procedures like pre-baking and accurate control of temperature and time while soldering.
Any tips would be appreciated... if i can just get it to work with a breadboard will be a huge win!
Thanks,

For hand soldering I would use a small bit on the soldering iron and thin wire solder. Align the GPS module with the correct pads on the adapter and then solder one pad by heating both the GPS and adapter pads at the same time and flowing solder to bridge the pads. Check that everything is aligned correctly and the first joint is ok and then solder the remaining pads. I would using a magnifying glass to check the quality of the joint.
If you do not have some soldering experience I would recommend getting someone who has. Too much heat and too much solder can too easily create problems.
