IR Lenses

Is there any interest in wide field of view lenses for the FLIR Tau camera for DIY applications?

We are considering adapting some of our standard WFOV lenses for the Tau.

What fields of view would be popular?  66 degrees, 70 degrees, 90 degrees?

Company web site is Janos Technology

Thanks in advance for the feedback.

  • Can't afford a Tau and certainly cannot afford to crash with one. I buy my camera lens from eBay in specific sizes then put into another holder. Great way to get day and night video without getting expensive but its not as good (or cool) as FLIR.

I would be very interested in this.  The field of view isnt really a consideration for me, as it would be use for landscape photography.  The longer wave bands of infrared would probably be more helpful, but the cost would obviously be important!
