Ir sensor wires

Hello, the following picture shows the wires of the FMA sensors as following:

Ground, V+, Analog 1, Analog 0,  (XY-sensor)    Ground, V+, Analog 2, Unused (z-sensor)

On my red shield the names are: Ground, 5V, A3, A2, A1

The grounds of both sensors are connected to one wire, the same with the V+, my question is now:

how is A3, A2, A1 correctly corresponding with Analog 0, Analog 1 and Analog 2?

Also in the manual under "Appendix 4: Hardware diagram" the names of the ATMega328 for the XYZ sensors are An0, An1, An2, on the shield A3, A2, A1 - very confusing for me

Yes, it's the curse of outmoded hardware again. I really think you'd be better off with the new shield kit, which includes a cable that will solve all these issues for you.

    John,

The original v1 Shield board was mismarked as to the analog channel designators.

    A1, A2, and A3 S/B A0, A1, and A2. Also An0, An1, and An2 are the same as A0, A1, and A2.

Power and ground are correct as is.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,
    TCIII
