Hi well had my iris in the air at weekend and could not get it down controls not responding now it fell out of the sky and it started to rain smoke started pouring out of it and what ever was behind air vent on bottom of iris has melted the air vent could this be the

I think you need to check out the battery. Sometimes if the battery is not working properly, it happens like this. Last month I was also dealing with the same issue, then I had called up the electricians King of Prussia PA who had came to my home and checked the iris and then they had replaced the battery, and afterwards it was working properly. I think you should consult an electrician so that they can check out the issue.
