  • Speed and efficiency of flight are important. Look at the type of the airfoil (effects flight speed, and glide efficiency), and whether or not you can put a power system on it that is acceptable. For efficient flight, you will need lifting wings (not symmetrical aerobatic wings). A lot of the jets have almose symmetrical aerfoils.

    The Bobcat is designed for nitro engine use, and shorter prop clearance. If you want to run an electric power system, you may have to use a 3-bladed prop to get prop length down to what will fit between the tail booms.

    Are you going nitro, or gas, or electric?

     

  • There are quite a few Funjets and Strykers lying under APM control.
