Is an ArduStation useful if you have goggles + OSD

I was just wondering besides a second unit, is there any point to an ardustation if you have goggles + OSD which id imagine has the same details ? Im just wondering what extra benefits does one have with this littel gadget.

I use it mainly for antenna pointing and an audio tone once the battery gets to a certain voltage as a return home indication. I also have an Osd, goggles and an 8 inch monitor on a tripod while flying my quad but the antenna pointing is the main reason I use the Ardustation.
