Is Spektrum Discontinuing the AR6100 Receiver?

Hi all, The Spektrum AR6100 receiver has been on backorder on the Horizon Hobby website for some time now. I just checked today, and they have removed it from their website. I checked the Spektrum website and they still show the AR6100 in their product line up. I wonder if Spektrum plans to discontinue the AR6100 leaving us with the more expensive AR6200? Regards, TCIII

Hi.

yes, I have understood that they had stopped manufacturing it and as I read some series were flawed. In a forum I saw the results of tests with the famous orange vs Spektrum, and the 6100 went badly in range, below the orange.

The 6100 has been replaced by the 6110. The difference is the orientation of the two antenna. also see the 6110e (end pins)
