Hi all. I have just received my fully assembled Arducopter (http://store.jdrones.com/product_p/acq11arf.htm).
I also own an Eurgle 2.4Ghz 9x TX from r2hobbies.com.
I'm new to RC and I don't even know how to connect the Receiver to Arducopter. I understand that I suppose to have some knowledge about RCs but I don't and I'm trying to find out how to connect the Receiver to APM.
There is no documentation about that on the web for my Receiver and I was wondering if someone has the same Receiver and can tell me where to connect the cables. For example, the battery cable from APM is a Black/Red cable but on my receiver there are three Pins.
Also can someone explain what is the "bind plug"?
thank you in advance :) I can't wait to fly my Copter.

When brand new to a hobby like this, remember to keep your chin up.

You should have small manual there with you that shows how to connect your receiver. Eugler/Turnigy/FrSky they all are the same.
On ArduCopter kits there are one red/black cable and another 7 pin cable that you will use to connect to your receiver. Radio needs to be in normal Acro (airplane) mode.
From 7pin cable While goes to your receiver Ch1 and then next 3 Oranges follows ch2, ch3, ch4. After that you have yellow, yellow and (gray or violet) . Depending on your radio settings you can put first yellow to either ch5 or ch7, second yellow to ch6 and gray/violet then to ch5 or ch7 which ever is free.
Here are few more pictures on how to connect those cables. Rember!! Red cable is always on middle pins, is does not matter on which of them as long as it's on middle and black is on outmost pins. Most receivers have those small holes on either up or down, that points where you signal pins are and opposite edge is GND (black)
