Just checking - motor behaviour

Just been configuring my arducopter and wanted to double check motor behaviour before i try for a first flight.

Once armed, all four motors spin up when i increase throttle.

With the 'copter sitting on the floor, i keep the throttle setting where it is and move the other controls to their extremes.

At the extremes, one pair of motors will increase in speed, but the opposing pair (depending on which stick is at it's extreme) will stop completely.

If i pick the 'copter up and tilt it around aggressively i also notice that motors will almost/completely stop momentarily in response to the movements.

Basically is this what i should expect to happen?

Thanks…

This sounds pretty normal.  What you're seeing is the result of how the quad controls it's yaw, pitch and roll.  The only thing I'd say is that you might want to increase your min throttle via the CLI menu.  There's some small risk that a motor might stop while you're in flight if you do an extreme maneuver while say decending (i.e. while your throttle is low).
