So i just purchased a Futaba FP-T8UAF. How can I reset this thing back to factory settings? Or at erase the saved settings per model. I am getting the hang of changing settings from the manual but it would be nice if I could start fresh with factory settings. Is there an internal battery that I could disconnect?
I paid $180 for it and I am starting to feel like I may have over paid. Its in very good clean condition and has no modifications. I don't think its ever been opened up. It came with original packaging with original fm rx/tx module as well as the FASST 2.4 GHz rx/tx module. There is also all the charger and accessories and manuals with it and 4 standard size servos. Do you think I over paid?
Here is a pic I found online of the same radio as what I have (mine does not have a broken switch):
Any one have any experience / tips for this radio. I plan on putting it in an easy star and probably wont need all 8 channels for a very long time maybe. I am thinking HS-55 servos for rudder, elevator, and then 2 for the aileron mod. I like the idea that they are lighter than the HS-81 servos.

Well can you send it back? If not its a mute point if you over paid or not. I have the same radio and love it. I recently got a 2.4 ghz FrSky module to run it. I think the only thing I am concerned about is set up with my Ardupilot, seems most documentation is for newer radios. There are two menu's, a main and a sub, look in your owners manual it should say. Im currently stuck on an island and am not home, otherwise I could look. Should be easy to reset it, its when you get into the curves mixing and other stuff you might have some issues not finding documentation. Try to google "programming guide" or something. Good luck let me know if you find anything, I will likewise.
