So i have a apm2.5 and just downloaded mp 1.2.28 I'm running a new macbook with a xp boot camp drive i.e. a xp laptop i have .net ect.... so i extracted the file and cant find a install exe? there is ardupilotmega planner exe file. So i clicked on that it just loaded the mission planner but there was never a "install with drivers and progress-bars etc" i keep reading about in the formsand showed in the wiki... I hooked up the apm via usb and didnt see it but xp asked for a driver so i pointed it to the drivers folder in mission planner unzipped folder and it loaded... i can connect and see values etc but i cant seem to feel i missed the install some how did a manual setup, and am missing other components like drivers for when the 3dr radios etc... so bottom line, is there not really a install just a run exe. or am i overlooking a install exe? the only problem i did see is i was playing with it at work (no wifi) and i could no longer see the firmware is this function only available online? i cant seem to feel there should be a hard copy of the firmware on hand and only replaced if we hit the update via the help tab?
Thanks
Chris

You're supposed to download the Installer. It's an .msi file.
