I am all for ANY positive exhibition or promotion of drones, specifically multi-rotors.
However, as with overall drone design, this too is laggging along much slower and duller than it should be.
Picture this:
An exhibition at night, maybe even before or after a 4th of July fireworks show or something.
Drones that are lit up like a Christmass tree, Drones with multiple Super-brite LED spotlights like headlights; Drones trailing streamers or smoke trails; Drones illuminated from the inside, large drones painted with flourescent paints, made to glow with UV LEDs..
Drone battles as they chase each other in dog fights, not just flying around.
Over-The-Top obstacle courses with variuous kinds of hazards, including the dreaded hanging strands of leaves or ropes or yarn! Multi-rotors vs. RC planes, Drones dropping small smoke bombs; Maybe RC cars doing jumps while drones fly underneath them, or Drones delivering and load-dropping RC cars onto a track. Drones dropping promotional T-Shirts into the audience - not by flying over them, but by pulling a tight turn to create lateral G-forces so the drone is never actually "Over" the audience, but where the T-Shirt flies sideways, opens up and drops down.
If we REALLY want to promote drones, if we want REAL exhibitions, we need to take it up about three notches and get inspired about putting on a REAL show!
