Hello DIYDrones (Questions & feedback are always wanted)
Apart from developing SkySight MONO, and soon to come MONO Pro trigger cables we have been developing specialised mapping solutions for agricultural farmers. SkySight consists of 3 former Product Development students from EAL.dk that had the crazy idea to bring specialised mapping solutions to the Danish agricultural market.
So far we have been using a setup with Sony Alpha ILCE-QX1, the Tarot X6 frame and our own trigger cable SkySight MONO.
With this setup we can cover 30 to 50 hectare (depends on camera overlay settings and flight pattern) with a flight height of 100 meters (due to regulation limit) flying in a survey grid.
The total weight of the setup is 6.9Kg with a parachute or 6.4Kg without. This includes the Sony Alpha ILCE-QX1 and Sony SEL50F18 Lense.
The total lift capacity is 19.2Kg, giving some room for development (add aditional cameras or other devices).
The picture below shows:

Nice setup you have there. Wonder how do you trigger the camera? Thanks
Hi
Great combination .
please tell us about mounting and dampening
thank you
Hi,
I really like your UAV. I've been looking into UAVs for ag based research at my company. What sort of mount/dampening did you use for the QX-1?
