About Me:

I work as a Geospatial & Remote Sensing Analyst at an International Forestry Consultant firm. I enjoy Remote Control as hobby and build UAVS as one of my working tools.

Please tell us a bit about your UAV interest

I first interested with UAVS/Drones in 2006 where drones technology is still impossibly too expensive for mass consumers and hobbyist. Back then I was amazed with the impressive amount of information in low altitude aerial data collected using a UAVS/Drones whereas I’m only familiar with Remotely Sensed data and GPS ground survey data to feed into GIS. Later the availability of consumer UAV/Drones technology made it possible for me to hands-on learnt, experimenting and adopt the UAV/Drones as one of the working tools which I think filling the gap between Remote Sensing and ground based data.
