Loiter Change Position

On loiter, if i move out the position with the stick and then release, you'll come back to initial loiter point.

how to change position and stays there? (like naza_)

  • As a comment, I'd say it is much easier to go manual, and then go back to loiter.

I think the one in mission planner, is the waypoint radius, which is different (2m normally).

I hadn't found the 'loiter radius' on a quick look.

Setting the position too low, might lead to problems. I don't know how the copter would respond, if (for instance) the setting is at 1m, and the GPS is persistently drifting by a couple of metres?. If it was adjustable, I have been meaning to experiment with turning it massively _up_, and seeing if it affects the 'I'm going to shoot off' behaviour currently common with the Mediatek GPS....

You can reduce the 5m down to 1m in the mission planner. I believe it's in where you program auto flights.
  • You have to go more than 5m, or just switch off loiter, move, and switch it back on.

I'd guess the 5m, might be adjustable (haven't looked).
