Hi.
I setup again my arducopter after been away for a long time. I must say that there is a big difference in stability but i don't seem to get loiter tuned in. I have the "toilet bowl" effect around the hold position and i don't know what settings i have to alter. I used default, i played with the loiter P and the IMAX values but it didn't work. Is the compass calibration still available somewhere in the MP? I couldn't find it and it might be the problem since i have about 20 degrees offset from actual mag north. Declination is set properly...
Any help welcome.

Compass calibration is done automatically during first flight. For your first flight after erasing eeprom, fly around (stabilise) in all directions for about 7 min. Do some large figure 8's and let the copter do a full yaw. Then land and disarm, now you compass is calibrated.
Some have reported that magnetic inclination is different then said on the decliation website. If the toiletbowl persists, you might try increasing or decreasing magnetic offset a bit (or check it with mission planner and a real compass)
Also, use the latest firmware 2.1. Some bugs in loiter are corrected in this version and they might cause the toiletbowl effect.
