Long-distance flight

Hello ! I just got approved my long-distance flight. I must do some modifications, like responder etc.

My plan is to get movie shot. So i will need plane, that can carry up to 3kg payload. And second is it must flight 80km route. I have communications ready, need help with plane itself. Send me your ideas.

    80km? EP aircraft is totally impractical, for sure.

    Monroe is right, that's a pretty tall order. A flight of around 50 miles with a payload of 6.5-7lbs will require a large aircraft indeed!

    These might be some possible choices: BTE Super Flyin' King or possibly the Senior Telemaster Plus or even the colossal 12' Telemaster. They should all offer ample room for equipment, though not the ideal plan-form for videography (motor in front). Some basic calculations demonstrates that electric really is impractical. If you assume a cruising speed of 80kph you will need 1 hour+ reserve of perhaps 20% or about 2 gallons of gas! Almost twice as much if you use glow fuel which would mean you would be carrying around 34lbs of glow fuel or 17lbs of gas. In either case it's a lot of fuel and would probably exceed the cargo/load capacity.
