I teach a computer lit class for 8th graders. I would like to have a one week unit on robotics but do not have the $$ to buy so many robots. I was thinking that if students could use their Macs to controlling a blimp - floating in the class - it would provide the same benefits as using a robotic arm but would be more visible to all the class. Does anyone have any info on how to do this?

All you need is a blimp and a number of electric thrusters, controller, battery, radio / 3G
Since your class blimp project features limited payload due to its size.
None iPhone controlled blimp on ebay.

PowerUp 3.0 could work for some basic control.
