Hi
With the latest update to APM Planner, when I go to Mandatory Hardware / Arduplane Level, I can no longer just "level" my airplane - looks like the accelerometers are being calibrated there, so I need to place the APM on it's side, etc etc - which is not practical since it's already installed in my plane.
I just want to "level" it, like in previous versions.
How to do this?

There is some confusion on this point. What I did and it seemed to work, is, go through the accel cal. process making sure in step 1, my plane was level. For my needs, I level it with the FPV camera "seeing" a level horizon. I admit that having to go through this each time you want to level is cumbersome. The developers state that the accel cal is a much better way to calibrate, which I don't doubt but for a simple level reset, I would like the old feature back.
Btw, according to Michael O., you don't need to take the APM out of the plane. You can hold the plane in the various positions using a wall or similar as a straight edge. However, it is important not to move when you hit the button for each cal orientation.
