Good morning,
First post (possibly of many!), just to see if anyone else has encountered issues with the Minihawk/Pixhawk Mini, when connecting the GPS/Compass or the 3DR telemetry.
Both have different symptoms...
Telemetry ( Link to Module ):
- Tested and working with another flight controller
- Connect to Minihawk, as powered on, get a few flashes from the tx/rx
- Solid green LED indicating it's found the receiver on my laptop
- When connection attempted through Mission Planner, there is a single red flash, and then after 30 seconds, it times out.
- Have tried connection with different antennas, and no improvement
- Have checked parameters in Config/Tuning, and nothing seems to work. Connected to UART2/Telemetry
- Belled out all 4 wires on the connectors, and all fine (CTS/RTS not connected)
GPS/Compass ( Link to Module ):
- When not connected, all seems fine, can connect to Minihawk through USB, and can arm and fly
- When connected, when powered on, I get the
- I then restart the board, with the safety button depressed
- I start to get the following sound, but after two (not three) of the beeps, it stops. Then after a power cycle, it does the New IO Board Firmware Found sound again
- There is no ability to connect to Mission Planner, and cannot arm until the GPS/Compass receiver is disconnected
Beeping!!!!!!!
- the motors beep CONTINUOUSLY until the safety button is pressed. Bloody annoying if your sitting diagnosing issues for an extended period of time!!!
- Any ideas of how to stop it?
Seen a few people have had a couple of issues with these, which is a shame as it's such a light and feature packed bit of kit! Just really annoying to not see many setup/guides etc for them!
Anyways, any help on the above would be much appreciated!!
