Missing Mavlink connection ports

Hello,

I have mission planer 1.3.37, build 1.1.5917.13431. a coworkers mission planner shows proper drop-down options in the menu. As seen below.

For some reason, the same mission planner version, on my computer, has blank drop-down options, both for Mavlink and NMEA, as seen in the print screen bellow.

Is there something I should do to enable the drop-down selections?

Coworker has 1.3.35 build 1.1.5878.12941
