Mission planer is running slow after the last update

After the last update of the mission planer  1.2.51 the MP is running very slow and it takes up to 3 min to connect  to my AMP, this is happening on my desktop and with my laptop.

Is this a known problem or is there something wrong with my AMP?

    So is that it? Is there no solution to MP running slow since the update (I'm now running 1.2.72 Mav 1.0).  It was running fine on earlier versions (before the GUI colour changes) on my Dell Lattitude D630, Windows 7 64bit.  But since the update it can take anything up to 3 or 4 minutes to connect to the APM.  

    Once connected everything else seems to work at normal or OK speeds.  Just the initial connect or terminal connect to the APM take an eternity!

    I've tried the GDI+ switch and it makes no difference whatsoever.  

    Something is definitely not right with the vesion.

    No I don't think that your amp is running slow my mission planner software is running slow too.

    I run mission planner on Vmware on my mac.

    I have just learned to live with it
