I'm using MP2.0.0 (RC1) and the Joystick button is not showing up in the Actions Tab, I have a 3DR data link working perfectly.
Is the support for it included with the RC1 APM planner version?
I'm running this on Ubuntu 12.04 x64

I think you mean APM Planner 2.0. There is support for joystick in the code, but I a have not verified it works yet, so we removed it for the time being. I can look at adding it back in for the newer release.
