I'm buying new screws for the motor attachment. However, I wanted to check something before I bought the new screws. The screw holes that are on the standard jdrones quadcopter, does the hole end before it reaches the innards of the motor, or is it possible for the screw to actually reach the inside of the motor. I couldn't tell from looking at it.
These are the motors I have:Jdrones motor

It is definitely possible to screw a screw right in to the workings of the motor. BEWARE. I just did that last night and was severely disappointed in my self.
The funny thing is, I just came in from shortening all my motor mount screws.
the screw is an M3 if it helps....
Hello Don,
I have just checked both motors the 850Kv and the 880Kv, the holes go all the way through and you can either see wires to / from the motor or the windings of the motor itself, so selection of the correct screw length would be very important.

Martin.
