After searching in various forums and in the documentation without finding the cause of the problem I thought to throw a question to see if anyone has come across this case.
I have a board APM 2.0 with software 3.0.1 and sometimes ArduCopter after connecting the battery and assemble the engines, they start spinning for a few seconds (fortunately I have not mounted the propellers). It has happened both with connection to Mission Planner as without it. Not if the rotational speed is suciciente as to lift the Quadricopter of control.
Anyone know the cause or know how to prevent this from happening.

I don't know the solution but I have the same problem. You wrote it happens sometimes, on my APM it is the rule:( I posted this problem to this forum yesterday.
I would be grateful to get some information from you about solving the problem when you will find the solution .
