Hey guys...
did the first flight on my quadro yesterday, started tuning the PIDs today...
Was able to remove oscillation on pitch nicely...
Now the only problem i have: I have to hold quite a lot of right roll and nick backwards in order for the copter to hover level. (About 40-50% stick way)
I am on firmware 2.0.31, and after the flight i made it all level and gave the CLI-Command to level again, but the result was the same...
The weight distribution should be ok, flying in + mode, but have a lipo attached diagonal on the battery-mount, perhaps that is upsetting it...
As i gather, i should not use the RC-Trims, so what is my best shot at getting rid of it?
Regards
Daniel

Mine is still tilting to the back right as well.
Is the auto-trim feature CUMULATIVE the more times you run it?
that did most of it, did 2 autotrim flights, helped a lot, perhaps needs 2-3 more to get it fully adjusted, but it was much better then the flight before autotrim... thanks everybody!
Great, had read the thing in the troubleshooting guide, but the comment from jason helps me, will try that then....

From the troubleshooting guide:
"My copter won't stay perfectly still in the air: Make sure the CG of the copter is dead center. Then run the level command on a flat surface. (hold disarm for 15 seconds to invoke.) You can also fly in auto-trim mode in a windless (important!) environment. Any wind will cause the changes you make to work against you when the quad rotates 180°. You can use your radio pitch and roll trims, but remember to re-center them when you set up your radio with the config tools. I'm not a fan of trimming the radio for quads, but NEVER, NEVER trim yaw. (Quads are also susceptible to drafts. They will need constant correction unless you install an optical flow sensor. One day...)"
And from a previous Jason post:
"I added two in-field calibrations to the arming and disarming gestures. Hold disarm for ~ 10 seconds to level the copter. Hold arm for ~ 20 seconds to fly in auto-trim mode for about 45 seconds. It will exit auto-trim automatically and fly normally. Don't worry about counting out the time, just wait for the flashing lights to enter either mode."
Good luck!
