0 nav Pitch alt PID /vs/ nav pitch as PID ? are they used together or what ? Posted by Andre K. on March 26, 2012 at 2:56am is *only* "Nav pitch alt PID" used when airspeed is not available ?andis *only* "Nav pitch AS PID" used when airspeed is available ?Or is there any way these two are used together, or influence each other ? Update: I see that "nav-pitch-as-PID" is to limit positive pitch while airspeed is too low.
This brings me right to the core of the problem:
If I disable airspeed, plane goes to proper altitude as expected.
If I enable airspeed , and "nav-pitch-as-PID" is all 0 - the plane fails to climb.
If I set nav-pitch-as-PID P=.200 - it'' descend instead of climbing.
Airspeed is above cruise speed, and above minimum airspeed., (min 8m/s , cruise=11 , actual mey be 12, still no attempt to climb)
