Just received and soldered up the AttoPilot 90A/50V Voltage/Current Sensor.
To keep things in perspective for the past three months I have successfully been using Bat monitoring for a three cell lipo using the three 3.9kohm resistors provided with the oilpan.
I can't seem to get the proper outputs with the newly acquired v/current sensor. all I get is .76 volts and nothing in respect to MAH or A.
I followed the WIKI instructions to the best of my knowledge.

Reset the BAT monitoring value from 1 to 4 via the APM Mission planner.
Removed the resistors that were needed for monitoring each cell.
Kept the 3.9kohm resistor in the AN0 position  (The pads closest to the white relay) as instructed.
What is supposed to be used to connect AN01 for the current sensing input? What I am trying to say is if the wiki instructions are followed there should only be one resistor in the AN0 (voltage sensor) pad, the remaining three sets of pads should have nothing. How is the current sensor input going to read if there is nothing jumping/connecting the AN01 pad?

Would appreciate any advice.

  • Hi to all, I have the same problems, the voltage is 0.72V / 0.73V instead of 12.3V.
I haven't check the current. I have mounted a 3.9K resistor on AN0 as described in the Wiki. There are some parameter to adjust, like voltage divisor, ecc ??

    Many thanks in advance.

    It just does.

But maybe the resister is wired in parallel so whether or no its there or not, the sign still gets thru.
